Wishtrend Revamp and BlackFriday Sale 2019

The first time I tried Korean skincare was 6 years ago when I was a college student. I watched some YouTube videos about how to clear acne, and I found out the Wishtrend website. I forgot what was the first items I bought from Wishtrend. I only remember I bought the acne set by ENCA and pore cleansing kit by Skinmiso. I have bought so many items from Wishtrend since brands they carry are effective and promising. I also tried their own brand – ByWishtrend and had good experience. I have been their customer for so long, and I am so happy to see them revamp their website and launches more products.

This year, Wishtrend makes the BlackFriday sale bigger and longer. Below is the flyer I got. I have my recommendation below as well if you not sure what to get.

Wishtrend always have brand packages and packages for different skin concern. It is a good way to save up, try new brand, and have people to decide skincare routine for you. I am the type like trying new products so I only stock up my most favorite items from Wishtrend during BlackFriday.

My 2 must have is the Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence and ByWishtrend Natural Vitamin 21.5% Enhancing Sheet Mask. First of all, I love this sunscreen since it released. It is literally its name. It is airy and feel like an essence on skin. It doesn’t have white cast or makes my skin oily. I don’t use other sunscreen other than this now although I still try new sunscreen to see if they can beat this gem.

This ByWishtrend sheet mask is my most favorite sheet mask ever. My skin loves it. It always solve my skin problem like dryness, skin reaction, and dullness. I use it almost every week and as emergency. It makes my skin look brighter, softer, and healthier. The sheet itself fit my face size and shape too. I haven’t find any other mask that can replace it. I highly recommend you to try this. I also tried ByWishtrend vitamin C serum (both old and current version). It also help clearing my acne scars and dark marks too. On Wishtrend website, they have a set with these two products. It is a good way to try both.

I also recommend to try the Klairs Fundamental Watery Oil Drop, Eye Awakening Gel, and Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop. I already post a review for the eye gel in my blog (link) so I will talk about the watery oil drop. I just start using it last month, and I fall in love with it the first day I use it. I have combination skin so it is difficult for me to skin a good water-oil balance serum or moisturizer. Facial oil is too heavy for me and watery serum is not moisturizing enough for fall and winter. This watery oil drop is doing a great job hydrating and moisturizing my skin. I also like how it gives a natural glow to my skin. I use it as serum and an add-on for my skincare routine, but I think if you have oily skin, you maybe fine to use this as a moisturizer.

The Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drop is a good anti-aging product to add on our skincare routine. It is watery and get absorbed quick. I like testing new items, and I always look for new serum to solve my different skin concern. Some of the serums don’t focus on anti-aging so it is so important to me to have an item that is dedicated to anti-aging and can work with other skincare item. This serum is exactly what I want. I also like how it help calming my skin redness and sensitivity. This one doesn’t go on sale easily so it is your chance to get it from this sale.

Perfect Eye cream/gel for teens: Klairs Fundamental Eye Awakening Gel

I remember I used to hate eye cream when I was in high school because they felt heavy on skin and make my face oily. I also had a hard time finding eye cream that doesn’t irritate my eye area. Even these days, I still look for eye cream that is good under makeup, doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, lightweight, and can de-puff my eyes. Well, I am lucky enough to get sent this Klairs Fundamental Eye Awakening Gel from Wishtrend to test and review. Honestly, I love a lot of Klairs products. Their sun essence and watery oil drop are my everyday essentials. I have some expectation for this eye gel. I originally want to have a day time eye product to take care my puffy eyes and help with fine lines so here is my review after 3 weeks of using this eye gel every morning.

Let’s start with its basic information:

The eye gel is cruelty-free, vegan, ethanol-free, silicon-free, steroid-free, artificial coloring-free, artificial fragrance-free, and has about 7.40 pH. It claims to help improving dark circles and skin tone while helping with de-puffing and anti-oxidizing. It is formulated as gel moisturizer to provide quick absorption for busy day. Also, it is claimed for all skin type.

This eye gel cost $24.50 USD for 35 ml of product. It may be pricey for the amount of product, but we only need 1/4 pump each application. My eyes are small so I just need one drop. I can see this little bottle can last me at least half a year especially I only use it in the morning. I would say this is an affordable eye gel.

This eye gel has a watery gel texture. You can mistake it as essence. It spreads on skin like water and gets absorbed into skin fast. It gives slightly cooling sensation. Once you put it on, you can instantly feel it hydrates your skin and relief the tidiness around the eye area. It also leaves a very thin layer on the skin without any sticky feeling or peeling. It is not moisture enough for people with dry skin, but this eye gel is perfect for people with dehydrated skin and oily skin. It is also the reason why I recommend this eye gel to teens. When I was in middle and high school, I dislike any oiliness or sticky feeling on my face especially I had a lot of acne. I remember I didn’t like eye cream because their creamy texture and felt heavy on skin. I think I would like this gel type eye care product when I was younger. Also, The quick absorption makes this skincare step much easier and faster. We will no longer have excuse of not using eye care product. I usually purposely forget using eye care product in the morning because I have to wait for them to get absorbed before using sunscreen or doing makeup.

I like this eye gel doesn’t have any scent and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. So far, it doesn’t fight with my other skincare products, and I enjoy using it in the morning. My eyelids usually get oily during the day and smudge my eye makeup. I notice this issue is improved since I started using this eye gel. This helps my eye makeup apply smoother and last longer. It also helps de-puffing my eyes, but it is not strong enough. I still need to do eye message for my puffy sleepy eyes. In terms of dark circle and skin tone, I don’t notice any difference since I originally doesn’t have dark circles. I notice there are less dry lines around my eyes. I am not sure this is because of the eye gel or because I started using eye gel in the morning. I will need to use this eye gel for few more months to find out.

Overall, I recommend this Klairs eye gel to people who has oily or dehydrated skin, wants a simple and quick eye care step, has puffy eye, or is currently looking for affordable eye cream/gel. I know Klairs release a new eye cream/butter along with this one. I would recommend my friend with dry skin try that one since Klairs is a trustworthy brand for me. I like this eye gel and will continue use it on my morning skincare routine until my skin becomes less oily and need more anti-aging properties in eye cream.

1. I am a 27 years old July baby. This is why I am sharing 27 facts. I may post something fun when I become 28.
2. I love K-pop. Some of my favorite groups are X1, Seventeen, Red velvet, EXID, and Oh My Girl.
3. This is not my first blog. I started my first blog on November 2015, and stopped on 2017 because my procrastination and getting into YouTube. Now, I start blogging again and move all my original followers to this site. Thank you for anyone still follow my blog.
4. I have mild scoliosis. It is about 23 degree and not very noticeable. I am trying to do yoga to help my back pain and correct my posture.
5. Cat is my most favorite animal. I will definitely get one when I have my own place.
6. I like Asian makeup especially Korean and Japanese makeup. I like the color they use are more soft and neutral.
7. I learnt volleyball and baseball from anime and manga. I honestly didn’t know any baseball rules before I read The Big Windup. It taught me a lot and rise my interest in baseball.
8. My favorite sport is swimming but I cannot swim in the ocean. I am good at breaststroke and love swimming. I am afraid of the ocean because I feel lonely and lost in the ocean. I think I should try diving or swim in ocean more.
9. My work and my habit makes me start having social anxiety. I work in a office that is 20 minutes walk from my home. It is a tiny place and our team is less than 15 people. I don’t go out often so it is rare for me to interact with stranger. Recently, I start feeling nervous and uncomfortable going out. I need to go out more.
10. I am afraid of insects especially cockroaches, bees and spiders. It is why I use bleach to clean my home.
11. Out of 27 years of my life, I only have my own room during my sophomore year in collage. Can you believe I am still sharing my room with my brother? But, he got a girlfriend recently so I think I will have my own room later.
12. I love winter and snow. I want to stay in my cozy blanket drinking warm matcha latte rather than sweating under sun and get burnt. I get sunburn easily, and I hate sweating.
13. I have combination dehydrated sensitive skin. I want to add acne-prone too, but I found a solution to fix my acne so I will keep that away.
14. Some of my favorite clothing brands are Lazy Oafs, Uniqlo, Hollister, Vagabond Shoemaker, and Urban Outfitter. I will not tell you how much I spent on Lazy Oafs.
15. Some of my favorite skincare brands are Zabana Essentials, Curology, Krave Beauty, Klairs, and ByWishtrend. I love 100%Pure coffee bean eye cream too.
16. Some of my favorite makeup brands are Milk Makeup, Peach C, Colourpop, Canmake, and Glossier. I love Peach C blushes the most, but I think I own almost everything from Milk Makeup.
17. Some of my favorite manga/anime are Haikyuu, Big Windup, Assassination Classroom, Fruit Basket, Uta No Prince-sama, and Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni kike. I am a big fan of Haikyuu, and I start watching Uta No Prince-sama again since they release a new movie.
18. I love earrings but my piecing holes will get infection if I wear anything other than gold, so I can only wear ear clips. I am planing to get another pair of ear piecing hole. I am eyeing on some gold hoops.
19. I have a Computer Engineer bachelor degree, but my current job is nothing related to it. I am working in a company who help healthcare provider to get money from insurance companies. This job helps me understand how insurance works, and I like the team.
20. I meet two of my best friends from my junior year in college, and they both call Neha. It is fun to make them guess who I am talking to.
21. I am 162cm tall, 28 inches waist, and US shoes size 8. I always think I can grow 5 cm taller if I fix my scoliosis problem.
22. I hate the taste of alcohol. This is why I don’t drink them. They make me sleep too.
23. My favorite colors are green, black, coral, and grey. I start liking pink again. Last time I like pink was my 4th grade. I remember I wore pink from head to toe. That was fun.
24. I like Pusheen, Esther Bunny, Little Twin Stars, and Sumikko Gurashi Neko. I basically like all cat character except Hello Kitty since I read a horror story involving Hello Kitty.
25. I read horror story and horror game-play, but I never like watching horror movie. I like psychological horror more.
26. I have lost 30 lbs before. (from 150 lbs to 118 lbs) Now, I am 133 lbs. I am working out to hopefully get slim again. I have some pairs of jeans get tighten because I gain weight again.
27. This is a new start of my blog. I want to take it easy and enjoyable. I don’t want to force myself to do something or to be someone. I want to simply share my life and things that bring me joy.
